Tenant Rental Deposit Reclaims
By law, in Scotland, your Landlord must lodge a tenant’s deposit with a Scheme Administrator within 30 days of your tenancy beginning and must keep you informed. If your landlord fails to lodge your deposit, you can take action and be compensated. If your landlord fails to do so, a court can grant you up to three times your deposit, even if you have had your deposit back.
