At Clarity Simplicity, we know that speaking with a solicitor can often seem like a frightening process. We therefore want to do all that we can to ease your concerns by being open, honest and upfront at all times. Our clients are at the heart of everything that we do.  This is why we offer a tailored approach.  We know that that one size does not fit all. We often find that clients ask us the same initial questions. So, to help you, we have included a list of our frequently asked questions and answers below: –

1. Where is Clarity Simplicity based?

We have offices in Glasgow, East Kilbride and Dumfries however, we provide our services across the whole of Scotland and have represented clients across the central belt, highlands and Islands, and down to the borders. During the pandemic, we made further investments in our video-conferencing and telecommunications software such as Whatsapp, Zoom, Teams and Skype, and can deliver outstanding service not only in person, but also remotely. We can also organise home visits. In short, however you would prefer to meet with our solicitors we can deliver.

2. What types of cases do you handle?

People and their life challenges are at the heart of everything we do.  We are a full service  law firm and can provide expert advice on all areas of law in Scotland including:

For any matters than we cannot assist with directly, we have excellent referral partners that we work closely with.

In short, there is no legal matter we cannot help you with.

3. How long have you been in business?

Clarity Law Scotland was founded by our Director, Billy Smith in 2010. He was shortly joined by Emma King, an experienced civil solicitor. With Emma and Billy at the helm, the company grew and in August 2013 it rebranded to Complete Clarity Solicitors. It operated as a traditional law firm but with one main difference – a client centred approach, delivering outstanding service with a focus on providing solutions to every legal problem. No client is turned away.

In 2015, Emma and Billy created a sister company, Simplicity Legal. It adopted the same client centred approach but with one difference, a solely fixed fee funding structure with a focus on family law.

In 2017, Emma and Billy recognised that clients could benefit from the flexible services and funding options provided by both companies. Accordingly, the companies merged and became Clarity Simplicity.

At Clarity Simplicity, we have a team of experienced solicitors and support staff who are ready to assist with your legal issues.

4. How much will my case cost?

Your first consultation with any one of our solicitors is always free of charge.  From there the cost of each case varies as each set of client circumstances differs. At your initial consultation, one of our solicitors will be able give an indication of how much your case will cost.

What we can assure you of meantime is that our team will provide you with a range of funding options to ensure that you find a funding arrangement that suits you and your budget best.

It is, however, important to note that we do not offer Legal Aid at Clarity Simplicity. If you need assistance in finding a legal aid solicitor then we would encourage you to click the link here.

Firstly, this meeting is free.

If you wish to instruct us to help you, then we will welcome you to the team and give you further details about what you can expect moving forward.
