About Aimee
I support solicitors with the preparation and management of cases from initial instruction through to final court proceedings. My role involves working closely with the instructed solicitor, clients and authoritative bodies. I take witness statements from clients and their witnesses, prepare defence productions and legal documents, review evidence, take instructions and make sure that cases are progressing efficiently and in accordance with the legal procedures.
What is your favourite part of your role?
I love the variety when it comes to working in criminal law; no two cases or clients are the same and I enjoy working through complex cases. I am happy to support clients through an incredibly anxious time in their lives.
What do you like most about working for Simplicity Legal?
I am lucky to be part of a supportive and welcoming team. Everyone works together, we work hard, learn from each other and have a laugh every day. I think that is rare and really special!
What skills do you find most useful in your role?
Organisation, attention to detail and communication.
What is your proudest achievement?
Becoming an accredited paralegal! I am passionate about criminal law and the accreditation shows the years of hard work and commitment that I have built up.
Outside of work
I love spending time with my partner, family and friends and of course with my little best friend, my Boston Terrier Macy! I enjoy pilates, hillwalking, reading and being by the beach.
It\u2019s hard to choose my favourite place to go on holiday, but Sri Lanka, New York and Australia are my top three!
How her colleagues describe her
