Name: Emma Hamilton
Role: Paralegal
What is the favourite part of your role? Every day is different. Despite being practice focused I still have a wide range of cases that I work on and so much potential for learning and improving the skills I already have. I also work in a fantastic team of people who are so supportive and genuinely make every working day enjoyable.
What do you like most about working for Simplicity Legal? Being a part of such a brilliant team. The way our working days are set up make having a work life balance possible. I am able to work on a hybrid basis which means I can manage my family life alongside my work life. This simply wouldn’t be possible if it wasn’t for the team around me that has created such a structured and supportive working environment.
What skills do you find most useful in doing your role? Multitasking is a must. When you are working on multiple different cases which all hold different timescales then organisation is key.
Where is your favourite place to go on holiday? Anywhere in the Med that is over 28 degrees all year round!
What is your proudest achievement? Raising my little girl Eva. She is the light of my life.
What do you enjoy doing when not working? I don’t have a lot of free time between being a mum and working full time however, one of my favourite things to do if I get an afternoon to myself is walking my two fur babies at the beach.
How would your team colleagues describe you? A bubbly and happy team player.
